1. Introduction

These Terms govern your booking, travel, and onboard conduct with Alba Wildlife Cruises. Please read them carefully before completing a booking. Additional policies, such as our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, also apply.

2. Your booking

A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and a booking reference is issued.

  • The lead passenger is responsible for ensuring all passenger details are accurate.
  • Passenger ages must be correct as fares vary for children.
  • Only one wheelchair space is available per sailing and must be booked in advance.
  • You must provide a valid email address to receive confirmations and boarding information.

3. Prices & payment

  • All fares are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes.
  • Prices may vary by route, season, or promotional offer.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept major debit/credit cards and approved digital payment methods.
  • Discounts must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

4. Changes & cancellations by you

You may request changes to your booking, subject to availability and any fare differences.

5. Changes & cancellations by us

Safety is our priority. Sailings are subject to weather, tides, vessel conditions and operational requirements.

  • If we cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund, credit, or alternative date.
  • We are not responsible for accommodation, travel, or incidental expenses.
  • We may alter routes or timings where required for safety or operational reasons.

6. Onboard safety & conduct

  • You must follow all crew instructions at all times.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult.
  • Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused carriage.
  • Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the fare paid.

We are not responsible for:

  • lost, damaged, or stolen personal items;
  • missed onward travel connections;
  • losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Data protection

Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be handled by the Scottish courts.
