Accessibility information
We want as many people as possible to enjoy a day out with Alba Wildlife Cruises. This page explains what you can expect on board and how we can support you.
Booking a wheelchair space
For safety reasons we can accommodate one wheelchair user per sailing. If you or someone in your party uses a wheelchair or has reduced mobility, please tell us at the time of booking.
- Wheelchair spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please let us know the approximate size and type of wheelchair or mobility aid.
- Where possible we will confirm your wheelchair space as part of your booking.
Getting on and off the vessel
Boarding is normally via a gangway or steps from the pier onto the vessel. The angle of the gangway can vary depending on tide and weather conditions.
- Crew are available to offer steadying assistance during boarding and disembarkation.
- There may be a short walk along the pier to reach the vessel.
- Access when landing on the islands can be uneven and may include ramps, steps, slipways or beaches.
If you are unsure whether boarding will be suitable for you, please contact us in advance so we can talk through the arrangements for your chosen sailing.
